During the holy month of Ramadan, many individuals and families in underprivileged communities struggle to access nutritious food, and they may lack the means to celebrate Eid with new clothes, which forms part of our tradition.
Problem
Limited access to food and clothing can lead to a sense of deprivation and exclusion during a time that should be joyful and communal. It can also contribute to feelings of inequality within the community.
Together, we can create a world where every act of kindness ripples into a sea of positive change.
Solution
To address these challenges, we encourage individuals to donate their pre-loved clothes. This initiative not only helps those in need but also offers a unique and dignified Eid shopping experience, allowing individuals to select clothing items they like and feel comfortable wearing.
Collaboration
The collaboration with Project Maaida provides food parcels to those in need during Ramadan, ensuring they have access to essential nourishment. Your support allows us to support their operation as well.
Hufaath Packs
We also create hufaath packs to show our appreciation for those who lead the congregation every evening during prayer and recite part of the Quraan from memory
